Started out about 8am and fished till noon at my usual spot off Bill's Boathouse Dock...The weather was tolerable but as the morning moved on; it progressively got colder and started to rain. Used a slip bobber at various depths with a max of 35-40 feet. Used plastic and natural worm combos with an occasional powerbait for kicks. Also tried a chartreuse/red head jig recommended by a member. But again no luck with the exception of a strike fishing just off the bottom. The water was rather calm for that time of the morning and the water temp was hovering about 45-47 degrees. I know they are out there, however it is a challenge to find something that would entice a strike, hook and set. But patience, I know, is the key. More to follow.
