Quad and I fished from about 0800 to 1430 in my portabote. For the first 3 hours we did not catch anything on kastmasters, roostertails, flatfish, rapalas, mepps. Just a few nibbles. Then we switched to wedding rings and worms, since I had the bait. Pretty much right away I started getting solid action. I thought the first strike was the bottom and was shocked that it was a fish. We worked both sides of the lake and got action in the deeper end of the lake, far from the park. We both got many strikes, missing many, but I managed to limit out on stockers. 1 at 9", 3 at 10", and 1 at 11". Unfortunately, Quad did not land any fish, but he did get one to up to the boat before it was nice enough to self-release. It was quite windy, with a few sprinkles. When we were done and headed for the shore, my battery ran out, and Quad saved the day by rowing us in, againt a stiff breeze. Thanks, Quad! A quality fishing day for me, other than the dead battery at the very end.

I was spanked by the Urban Angler on my own local lake, LOL.

Sorry to shame you. Next time it will be me. :) It was so great when the skunk day got hot on the change of lures. And sorry about the battery and making you row!

Where is a good place to fish from the shore at Bitter Lake?
