Interesting day; a couple of girls and my buddy and I headed out to Rock Lake for the first time to see if we could find a brown or two. After a couple of hours and switching baits many, many times we had only had one bite and it was on a senko. We switched sides of the lake and my buddy pulled out a 14" brown on the senko. About 30 min later I pulled out a 15" brown on a senko as well.
They were very aggressive bites, I had cast about 5 feet from shore where a weedline turned into rocks and about 5 seconds after casting (I still had plenty of slack in the line) I saw the fish jump out of the water where I had just cast and it took me a moment to realize that I needed to set the hook.
Both fish released to fight again!
