Kayla Hutton was nice enough to bring her Dad, Dan and come fishing with me on her Spring Break. We had a promising start on the Bar, hitting three fish in 2 passes in depths of 115 to 135 feet deep. This took about an hour. We then moved up to the Yacht Club area and caught one more fish right off the slide in about 140 feet of water in the first 20 minutes. We then had a drought. We finally picked that 5th fish off the bottom in 350' of water. All the fish came within 5 feet of the bottoom and we trolled at speeds that varied from 1.3 to 1.6 mph. The Luminous Chartreuse U20 flatfish did all the damage. What a great morning to catch some fish, enjoy beautiful spring weather and spend some nice quality Father / Daughter time.
