I fished lake Washington for bass last Sunday in the sloughs around the arboretum. I have been checking out this area for a while but could never get any bass to bite, until a nice 18 incher. I tried for a little with no bites then went to a channel. I was fished a texas rigged pink worm when I through out a worm and bobber with a size 6 egg hook to see if i could catch perch or sunfish. I cast it out waited maybe 30 seconds was impatient so started reeling it in and bam my bobber goes under. At first I thought I was snagged and then some jerks and a nice bass jumps out of the water and heads for weeds. My heart stops but i yank it through unfortunately it got snagged so I waded in the water to grab it. Not huge but a healthy 18 inch largemouth fat and about 3 and 1/2 to 4 pounds with a real dark color. If anyone else knows of any other good bass spots in lake Washington tell me because I'm excited to try it. Picture coming soon.
