Well, alls well the ends well. We went an hour and 48 minutes without a bite to start the morning. Spencer and his buddies just hung in there and stayed positive. It was the polar opposite of yesterdays trip. Two passes over the bar and nothing. Continued downlake, and hit that 219' hole and bingo. Within 30 minutes we had 3 fish in the boat. As the weather got better and better so did the bite. We kept pounding that one area that seemed to hold a lot of fish. The T-4 purple glow flatfish caught the 2 biggest fish of the day, the purple smile bladed giant wedding ring baited with scented Mackinaw belly caught the majority of the fish. We ended with nine. High pressure building is where it's at to cure lockjaw for these spring lakers. Check out how the guys were dressed for the picture. What an incredible morning in March on Lake Chelan.
