Let me preclude this with what we all know...a bad day fishing is better then......
So we pretty much threw everything at them at one time or another. Started off with yellow rooster tails and went through the entire color line(red, black/white, white, etc etc). While I through these my bud soaked some power marshmellows(yellow) and then went to rainbow colored. I tossed a rainbow colored 1/8 oz spoon with no luck. tried some suspending stick baits down to 11'. tried the points(N & S). We started in the back waters straight over from the launch. We went through the break behind the island. By the time we got off the water the wind was up to 15-20 Kts. Started at 0830 and hung it up at 1700. A lot of mayflies hatching and I believe the fish have filled up on those and are quite content to stay with that. Also the water is way up and they are fairly well scattered. Water not extremely cold for it being only March/April(high 40's to low 50's). High temp was supposed to have reached 65, but doubt that it even broke 60.
Cheers
