Well, I haven't caught anything at Kitsap Lake in a while, but since I live close by I still like to go down and toss my line in and have a coffee and a smoke on the little fishing dock there. Got there around 10 a.m. No one there except a lone troller off in the distance. Tossed it out and before I could even light up I got a good hit, laid down my cig and reeled in an almost 17 incher. Got him unhooked and on the stringer, put on another ball of yellow power bait and tossed it out. I picked up my unlit ciggy again, just about to light up and there goes my dang pole again... I had enough for dinner and had to split after that because I had to go to work and now had to clean 2 fish before I left. I heard the just stocked, but the bigger one had been there a while for sure.
