I hit the lake at 9:30 am, the fish were rolling all over the place. I was told by other fisherman to use chartreuse colored lures or bait, but i only had gold, yellow, silver, and rainbow trout colored lures, so i went with a yellow and red dotted panther martin. The advise was good. I caught 5 in the first hour, then it slowed down so i switched to black with a gold blade, which was good for one more. All of the trout caught were dinks between 6 and 9 inches. I was fishing very close to shore. I saw some fish that were about 12 to 15 inches swimming around or chasing my lure, but they did not strike. I had fun though, all fish were caught and released unharmed. It was warm and sunny, beautiful day...I left at 11:30. Good luck to all.
