Today started off real slow in the lower basin but with the amount of Laketrout that I was seeing on the sonar I new that it was just a matter of time before the bite would pick up.

Trolled the Ace Hi-Fly by Silverhorde which has been producing well for me. The Purple Glow T-4 has been picking up a few as well. Troll these baits within 3 ft. of the bottom to be most Productive. I mainly have been targeting the Trench off Rocky Point because this is where i been doing my best on our Famous Land Locked Chinook. You will want to target these fish at first light in the morning and the last couple hours at night. Ace Hi-Fly has produced my last 50 Chinook at this location..

We ended today with 9 Laketrout and I believe we had over 15 bites in a 4 hour fishing trip..And mother nature was very kind to us.
