I decided to head out to the lake and try my luck. I got to the lake around 1615 and the wind was really blowing hard when I got there. It was a little hard to move around in my 8' pond prowler using a 40lb thrust trolling motor. I didn't start getting bites until the wind started to die down around 1745. I managed to catch my limit within the next hour and left the lake at 1845. I caught all my fish using power eggs. I caught my first couple fish on red power eggs and caught the next 3 on rainbow colored power eggs. Most of the fish I caught were 8-11" and the other one was 17". I caught the 17" as I was reeling in my bait and he slammed it hard. I fought him for about 6 or 7 minutes. It was a blast reeling him in. I released all the fish so they can grow up and let other people have fun catching them. Hope to see you on the lake!!
