Wento the lake to try my luck and enjoy some sunshine. I arrived at the lake at 1615 and the wind was blowing a little hard. It was a little difficult to navigate my 8' pond prowler even with a 40lb thrust trolling motor. I didn't get a bite until the wind started dieing down at 1745. Then I caught my limit over the next hour using power eggs. I caught 4 10-12" and 1 17" fish. I was using red colored power eggs to catch 2 of them and rainbow colored power eggs to catch the others. I was reeling in my line to recast when the 17"er slammed my bait. I fought him for 6 or 7 minutes before I got him in the boat. I released all the the so they can get bigger and let somebody else have fun catching them. I tried posting this report last night but it didn't post. Hope to see everybody on the lake..

Try trolling a small repala and hold on.

I have about 8 different colors in power eggs, a few colors of trout nuggets, and regular powerbait. I also use trout dip which seems to help out a little.
