Back to the scene of the crime LOL. Headed south from launch and fished the east shore about midway between the launch and the actual south end of the lake, in an undeveloped area that has alot of laydowns. Pulled a texas rigged Powerworm over a log in 6' of water and got the only bite of the day....4.2lb smallie. Peppered the area with cranks, worms, grubs, jigs and jerkbaits, but that was it. Fished four other of my favorite spots but couldn't find another fish, that is except for the goofy trout that ate my DT-6 just off a rocky point. Worked up almost to the bridge on the west side of the lake, then cut over to fish a creek inlet on the east side before heading to grab some lunch and double back to either Big Lake or Green...I mean Clear Lake;) in Skagit County... Water temps were only 48-50 degrees regardless of what depth of water we were in, I put the boat in everything from 2' to 30 feet and the surface temp didn't change. Started out sunny then became overcast with wind 5-10mph.
