Today was different from yesterday..My Father had a saying that he used alot when we were out fishing..We would catch fish in one area one day and then go there the next and not get a bite he would say Boys Chicken 1 day and feathers the next..This is exactly what happened today..

Found all my fish off Rocky Point today instead of the Trench. It was like they just said we have had enough and it was time to move..Trolled the Ace Hi-fly again to out fish any other bait.. Ended today with 11 laketrout..not bad for our first 70 degree day and recieved my first sunburn..

Keep your presentation 1 to 3 ft off the bottom to be most productive and do not be afraid of change..Pay close attention to your sonar..I graphed a bunch of Shrimp balls today and where the shrimp are is where the laketrout are..Tight Lines to all and good luck
