MySon In Law and I decided to give Spanaway another try on a beautiful Sunday. We hit the lake around 11am and fished until 5pm. Fishing started off slow with a couple of strikes occurring at the north end of the lake. When then proceeded down to the south end where we noticed several boats on a distinct trolling pattern. After a couple of passes we started getting a lot of strikes w/o fish in the boat. Eventually we started picking up a few trout. I limited for the 1st time this year which included 2 recent stockers. Out of the 7 fish we caught trolling we ended up with 2 Browns about 12" in length. The Browns put up a better fight then the Bow's andI am looking forward to hooking a BIG Brown.
