Last June took the family to lake Lanham.The trail was 1.6 miles long and a challenge for the kids. There was still some snow on the trail which made for a nice summer time snow ball fight. The lake doesn't have many good areas to fish as it is surrounded by a lot of brush. I saw no camp sites. The west side of the lake is real shallow and jammed with logs. This is also were the outlet stream is. The only good spot I found was on the north side (after crossing the steam) were a fallen log lay in deeper water. I was the only one to fish. In 45 minutes I hooked three Trout about 8 or 9" but only landed one. A beautiful golden trout (released). My first golden trout. All three fish were fat and good fighters. We saw no one While on the hike or at the lake. This was a challenging Alpine lake to fish. Cracker Jack Keep it clean
