Fished the sunrise bite on Saturday last. Rising rainbows on the west banks. There were a fair number of Damsel fly adults on the water, odd considering water temp. and early in the year. I fished an olive damsel nymph which produced 6 fish, caught and released. 2 @ 14-16" and 4 in the 20" class. They were some great fighters taking lots of line. The sun was out and the water was clear. At sunrise there were only two of us on the lake by 9:00am we had a rubber hatch of at least 25 water craft of every kind. Too many fisherman eved for the "Falls". Great morning action but the rest of the day was spent at Rocky Ford, which was awesome.
