Wow got to the lake at 6 am was surprised there was already about 10 other boats on the water guess everyone heard about the triploids. Fishing was slow until about 9 am and the they started hitting in force. Caught a few triploids a lot of 10 inch planters that were fun to catch pretty good size for normal stockers and 1 nice holdover probably in the 2.5 ;b range strong fish. All in all a fun day but probably my last to Howard for trout as it seems it is a pretty well fished lake and im sure will be fished out sooner rather than later.Talked to a few guys briefly that were bass fishing they were saying in the summer time you can catch a lot of 10 to 12 inch largemouth Im sure I will give that a try and will let you know how the bass are doing.
