I went out to Panther lake to scout it out to see how big the lake was. I only passed by it once before but never fished it. I started fishing from the boat lauch and got a few bites. I couldn't set the hook because I casted at least 100' of line out. As I was fishing two nice guys named Toby and Bill pulled up in their boat and invited me out with them. We went out to the middle of the lake for a couple hours with no bites. We switched spots to the west end of the lake. Bill started to get some some bites and caught some good sized fish before me and Toby even had our first bite. I caught a couple fish then the weather turned on us in a hurry. It started to pour and then the stinging hail started. We still were getting bites even though the weather sucked. I was unprepared for the rain. I was wearing shorts and a hoodie but still had a good time. I want to thank Bill and Toby for letting me go out with them in their boat.
