4/30/2010 12:16:00 PMToo early and tooooo cold for very many beds. With the cold rain we kept getting the past month I don't expect many beds until mid May. The cold rain will shut down most anything for a week, then we get more cold rain.

4/30/2010 12:39:00 PMI was out there about 4 weeks ago. I did get 2 bites on a 3" grub, but nothing. Was probably a small perch or crappie.

4/30/2010 8:54:00 PMI got a couple buddies that are not members of wl.com who have been fishing this lake and been doing alot better than most of us. They`ve been using alot of top water methods and been catching them pretty much all around the lake.

5/1/2010 11:28:00 AMThe top water method is the way to go. I've been there 3 times this year and all bass were caught on a top water tiny torpedo. I got about 15 bass there this year. The top water is only working in the morning and calm water. I use a slow presentation with a twitch and pause method, fish usually hit it when its not moving.
