After having a great opening day, we decided to head back to Lake Padden in hopes of catching some the leftover triploids. Were at the lake and fishing by 7:30. Between the five of us there, we had landed three within about 30 minutes and lost a couple as well. Seemed like we were going to have a pretty good day. But once you start thinking that...you know what happens! Everything went cold. Had a few bites but couldn't hook em. Did manage to land one triploid which was on the smaller side but ended up the day with 4 caught in total. From what we could see...it was about par for the lake with beach fishermen. Slow, cold and wet! Great park setting and being with the family gave it a three star day...but the fishing was not what we had hoped for.
