Me, Scoot and Noel headed down to the North shore dock area of Palmer lake around 7ish. We were po-dunk fishing from the dock. Tried casting, nothing. Tried throwing a basic worm n bobber out...nothin'. We saw the fish boiling the top of the lake out in the middle....needed to get out there. Noel scored a small paddle boat from our buddy Pete who lives real near the shore. We crammed into the tiny paddle boat and got out on the lake about 7:45ish. Once we started casting IT WAS ON! About 3 or 4 times, two of us were boating trout at the same time. I was primarily using a 210 white bodied Rooster Tail...it looked so delicious to those trout! Scoot and I both caught about 10 trout, Noel landed 7 or 8. Kept just a couple, released a bunch. All in about 90 mins. What a great time on tiny Palmer Lake.
