Hit Stevens today for kokanee action. Fish were around, overall a very good day. Usual tactics; trolled 4 rods 2 downrigger and 2 longlined up top. The morning producer was the longlines bother were seps micro trolls with needlfish and no bait, hit about 4 or 5 fish using this technique. Consistantly picked up fish on the DRs between 10 and 25 feet down running 0000 Dodgers and either a wedding ring or ace hifly tipped with corn and worms. Ended up with 8 fish in the box with one nice 16"er that was good and plump. Lost quite a few fish right at the boat which is always frusterating, but hey, thats part of fishing.

Any tips as to where to find these fish would be much appreciated. I would love to fish this lake for kokanee but I am not sure where they are holding or if they are spread out all over the lake. Thanks in advance for any info you feel comfortable sharing.

Right now the majority of the fish are suspended from 10-20 feet deep. A lot of fish are spread out all over the surface. Yesterday we caught them from right near the launch all the way to the east side of the lake around the aerator. Just look for jumpers and start fishing. Should be easy cause they are jumping all over!
