Fished every other day during the one month period. Using rooster tails and suspending plugs. Fishing any shallow water we could find, especially talus slopes. Caught and released over 5oo
Brown trout to 4 lbs. Average fish was 15 inches. Average daily catch was , two fishermen, three hours on the water, about 30 to 40 fish a day. Worst days were completely windless.
Best days had slight winds , enough to move the boat on a steady drift along the shoreline. Don't understand the people trolling. They are getting one or two fish and hour while
we were limiting in less then half and hour, then bending our hooks back so we could release the rest. Phenomenal trout fishing. These fish are eating mysis,
craws and snails with a few stomachs containing small trout. These are some of the best smoking trout in the area and the size is decent too.
