My Dad and I decided to give Lake McMurray a try. We got one of the few remaining parking spots near the launch. As the day went along, we saw many more boats out on the lake. We ended up only catching 3 rainbows. Each was 13 inches in size. We had a few other bites, but nothing else stayed hooked. We bait fished off the bottom most of the time, but for a couple of hours we did troll around the lower half of the lake. Two fish were caught still fishing and one was caught trolling. This was not one of our better trips to lake McMurray. We saw lots of fish on the fish finder, and the weather was great for fishing, we just couldn't get the fish to bite. We saw some people that were doing a little better than us, but also saw a number of people not getting anything.
