Did a little bass fishing at Lake Cassidy before work this morning...my first time out in 2010. I worked a 4" rainbow trout colored floating Rapala (everyway possible), and tossed some plastics too. My only hit was on the Rapala (on the retrieve after top water twitching). Nice to get back out fishing again, and stick a little pig too! Good fishing too you all.

Nice, Ive always had better luck with 5-6inch gary yamamotto senko watermelon cream. I fish it with no weight cast it into shore and let it sink to the bottom then let it sit for a few seconds pull up to the 9 o clock position and start over. Ive had better luck with slow presentations.

Glad to hear Cassidy is producing. Opted for Shoecraft this weekend vs. Cassidy. Got nothing. Maybe should have went there. I agree with the weightless senko. Been a nice producer for me, especially in the south end. Thanks for your report.

I was wondering when you were gonna start up again. You caught a lot of fish last year. Black worm right?
