Hit liberty for a few hours of between 5:30 and dark for crappie. And we had a great afternoon once we found them. At first we where only getting hits from bluegills, but after moving around we found them, and once we did it was non stop action. Spent more taking fish off hooks then fishing. When the sun was still out and bright a black jig four feet under a bobber was working well. When it got darker out they where not hitting black as well, switch to white and was right back into fish. between two of us we caught around 100 most about 8 inch, we kept 13 that where in between 10 and 13 inches for a fish fry. They are bitting great, but you must keep moving trying new spots untill you find a nice school of them or you will just get bluegills.

Great job, they are so fun to catch and well you know how good they are to eat. I did not know Liberty Lake had Crappie in it, I will be putting it on my check list on my next visit. Thanks for the report and good photo..
