Well hit the lake for a few hours this afternoon with my friend as we are shaking down the boat for a 2 week trip down to Brownlee Reservoir in Oregon. We found a few Crappie smaller ones that were not on the spawn yet. I believe they are just starting to spawn here at Leland the temp was 55.8 degrees and there were fewer fish being seen on the electronics. Most of the Crappie spawn under the muskeg on this lake and during the spawn about the only fisherman that can get to them is the Otter. We let these go in hopes they will grow up and die of old age. Caught these on my jigs, "Dons Dandy Crappie Jigs". Well it's about the time of year I leave this lake to others care and travel abouts in adventures upon other waters. Klahowya!

I am thinking of setting up a table at this years get together for Washington Lakes.com and offer them up at wholesale, yes they are my line of product. You may be able to find them here and there abouts in small stores close to lakes that I have visited. I am also thinking of showcasing a nice fish fry product and doing a sample cooking taste test. Sooo I am going to need some help from folks by providing some fish to eat. I will surely share my adventures at Brownlee and am actually considering doing a video for the website, but that will be a challange for me, I can do the footage easy enough, but it's what happens after that and how to get it into a usable format for the website...

Lucky getting to go to Brownlee, I'm thinking of trying to do a trip there next year for the crappie, catfish, and smallies. That would be cool if you could make a video and post it up on youtube or something.
