Caught smallies so I guess that is what I was after today.

A 3 pound even from under a dock, 1 1/2 pounder or so from between docks, Scared one about 1 1/2 from under a dock as I was getting close to the dock. "LOOK OUT, LOOK OUT, HERE COMES A BOAT!!!" Or it seemed like that was his thinking. LOL

Had one person come running out and tell me I couldn't fish within 20 feet of his dock and shoreline. I told him I could and had a copy of the regulation in my boat. He had a copy of a regulation also, but didn't have time to go back and get it, I'd asked him to get it so I could see the difference, but he had to go to work. He invited me to come back on the weekend to read it.

By the time we got done talking, not only did I get permission to fish his dock, I also have permission to walk on his dock if ever one of my lures gets caught on it. :-).

Man that's cool. Nice looking fish. How is fishing on Sawyer from the shore for bass? I love Union, but that's a 50 mile round trip. I think Sawyer is closer to me.

Only 2 places to fish from shore. At the launch/park. And at the south end there is some sort of 'park' that Black Diamond is planning on making an official park someday. But I see people walk in and fish there. I guess to get there you have to drive past the turnoff road to the launch and go to the right around the lake, and stop someplace down there.
