Fished good ol green lake from docks, from 05:45 to 09:45. As soon as I arrived at the dock, I saw fish surfacing all over the waveless lake. So instead of still fishing, I casted spinners. In the first 30 minutes, I released 3 fish, nothing big though. Got many other bumps/follows/self-releases. After a lull, and after the dock started filling up with people, I switched to still fishing powerbait. After about 30 minutes of that, with no action, I decided to seek a less crowded dock and spin cast again. Found an empty dock and began catching fish again. Caught and released 4 more small ones. After another lull, I go back to the first dock because it had mostly cleared out. Caught and released maybe 5 more small fish there. Successful lures of the day were a chatruese roostertail, a green one, a pink/blue #2 vibrax blue fox, and a silver and orange kastmaster. Seemed to be many people fishing, not too many shell rowers, and even some law breakers out in boats trolling with electric motors, when no motors at all are allowed on this water. Nice and warm, not too windy. Great morning.
