The weather was to nice, so I had to take out the pontoon and get in some fishing! I choose Five Mile over Desire, due to previous success last year.

Anyhow, I started out directly across from the beach area, trying my skills for Lg Mth, and no success. So I switched over to trying for Crappie. I rigged up my bobber and jig w/white nitro nibble.

Most people on shore did not catch anything, trout fishing though.

Furthermore, I caught 3 bluegill- solid/ok size! And, then I found some crappie- 4 total, ok size as well.

Fun day, besides rolling my pontoon from parking lot to lake and back, lol.

I gave up on on the Lg Mth, after no takes on my spinner bait.

You definetely have to fish this lake in a float device or small car topper boat. Good luck fishing from shore.
