I was at camp out at Fan Lake (camp reed) and had an injury that restricted me to fishing, hehe. While experimenting with different tackle, I found that if you're going for crappie, bass, etc. An orange Mepps Rooster Tail is very effective. I bagged 6 2.5lb crappies and a 16inch smallmouth in about an hour. If you try by the island or any docks, fallen trees you will be very lucky.
