Hit up louise for some spring largemouth action today. it was really nice on the water, probably about 70-75 degrees, got a little burnt again. Right off the bat we spot a hog swimming in the shallows between 2 docks, try a couple times with the plastic worms and go nothin, moved on. Hit every dock and weedy spot on the lake...caught like 9 or 10 rockbass...most of them were really HUGE for rockbass, i have personally never seen them this size, about 11"-12" and FAT. Also caught a couple dink largemouths on a synko. Hooked into a good largie at on the docks, put a up a really good fight and right as i was leaning to grab it out of the water the hook slipped and it was gone! NOOOOO!!!!! It was probably a good 3 pounder. all in all it was a fun day.
