Been hearing about the lake for a long time now, and been reading reports from others. Looked like a great smallie lake. Decided to hit the lake in the evening. We got there around 5:30 or so. Started fishing at the first point, and I got a nice two and a half pounder on my second cast!! Got it on a drop shot. Fished down the east shore for a while, saw some fish on beds but they spooked really easy. They were also bedded up in about 9 feet of water. Not used to that because most of my time has been spent with largemouth, and they don't usually spawn this deep in the lakes I fish. Finished the day on the Northwest side of the lake, and got another nice one, and my dad got three nice ones. Biggest one was about 4 pounds or so. Really good lake, water was super clear, and a very nice lake!!
