Stop by Coulon Park after work, fished from 5pm - 630pm. I started out drop shotting a gulp pearl white minnow, no takers. Moved around over to boat launch area, and tried a sniper bolt (black), had 1 hit and got excited and missed it.

Then switched over to a road runner, orange head with white curly tail grub. And, I was getting some small bites from blue gill and perch. Then I landed a nice 2-3 lb smallie. Not sure on the weight, but rough estimate. I have pic on the cell, but not going to waste time posting, due to the poor quality it displays on site.

Anyhow, really had to work at it though.

I did see a lady catching a few perch with just a line of string and worms or perch meat I suppose.
