5/21/2010 12:06:00 AMYes I was out in the tube. And yes it does get nasty. :-) I've got an addiction. The large mouth are holding super tight to shore. I like brushy, overgrown banks and a fast retrieve. The cuttys are feeding on the outside edge of weed lines in 15 ft of water. Anything mimicking a smolt or a sickleback seems to work great. I've been using DT rapalas with chrome or silver holographic finish. I've had the pleasure of watching some huge fish busting schools of smolt within 5 ft of my tube. A lot of Pike minnows around too. Caught one last year that was 28 inches. Night crawlers will catch a little bit of everything as well, but the perch are voracious.
