I wasn't going to let the secret out but since I am heading over to the Potholes and then to Banks this next week I thought I would let everyone know that the LMB's are on FIRE on top water in Silver.
I fished it Saturday last weekend and caught 19 fish between 10 am to dark. Only two were small 10 inchers, the rest were 2lbs to 7.5lbs.
Don't let the locals fool ya when they say that the bass aren't hitting there, they are in full spawn. Water temp was 64 to 68 and murky brown. Leave your small finess stuff at home and break out the big gear.
At times my son and I had doubles and at one moment we caught 6 fish within 30 minutes. All over 3lbs.
