Took my 8 year old daughter out for a morning of father daugter bonding. Got to the lake at about 630 and were catching some really nice 12 to 16 inch trout all morning till we limited out by about 830.

If you were fishing the North lake, I hope "we" didn't limit out, but that only your daughter kept her 5-fish. That lake is a juvenile 15 years and under only lake. The south lake has very little in it, and it's nice to have a spot where the kids can come and catch a couple of fish, but there is an ongoing problem of adults either alone or with kids, catching and keeping their own limit of fish. Glad you had a nice outing, but we want to make sure everyone realizes that adults are not allowed to fish in the north lake where all the fish are.

Stever you are right about the north pond fore juvenile only but are not about the south pond for adults having fish in it. I have fish it many times and cought fish. Snohomish county and other fishing clubs stock both sides. May 22 and 23 Everett steelhead and salmon club net off the chanel that gose between both ponds and held a kids fishing event. Stocked it both days even had a few hundered 5-10 pounders put in. When its all done the net is removed and the fish use that chanel back and forth beteween lakes. Just to let you know there is fish in both sides. We have to watch out for those power remote boaters have been trying to kick fisherman off both sides. To have raceses.
