Thanks to a forum post, we found out about this great place to take the boys fishing. We went to Bill's Boathouse and fished off the dock from about 1pm to 5pm, it was cool and rainy but not completely unpleasant. I read the reports before we left and decided to try fishing off the bottom with worms as bait. Seemed to get the best results, excellent advice.

We brought home three good sized trout, I caught two including the largest catch of the day. We released at least three that were too small to keep, some trout and a bass. One big trout I almost got out of the water snapped off my line right as we were getting it into the net at the dock and it would have been the best catch of the day.

Overall we had a great time, it's a nice location and the rest of the fishermen were fine company. Kids got to fish free, we paid about $4 each for the adults; well worth it.
