Went to Coloun Park today just to check it out . I was at the last fishing dock casting out useing Powerbait and worms with about a 6 ft leader had no luck not even a bite. Lots of little fish jumping in schools everywhere. I tryed a couple of lures along the log sump areas no luck either. I have been fishing alot of the small lakes lately where you just cast out and wait adjust your leader here and there catch a fish. Anybody out there that can give me a few tips to fish this lake off the shore I would really appreciate it For all types of fish.

Powerbait doesn't work very well in Washington. Worms should work fine though, but if you are using a carolina rig then you'll need to fill them up with air so they float. Otherwise, stick with using a dropshot for worms and you should be all over the perch and an occasional bass. If you do use a carolina rig for worms, you might be able to catch a carp or catfish at night, but only bottomfeeders.
