I had a great time at the lake today. Caught five fish in just a few hours, though the people next to us were doing even better than I was. Three guys fishing off the end of the dock, all limited out with some really nice trout in the time I was there. The first guy was catching them with yellow garlic marshmellows. The other guys didn't happen to share what they were doing so good with... I was using corkies and worms pretty consistently.

It rained off and on, and the dock was pretty crowded today. Everyone seemed to be having a varying degree of success. I think that leader length had the most to do with it. I and the others doing well were using about 5ft off the bottom. Lots of people bobber fishing to good effect as well.

Overall, good action! I was glad I went and caught some yummy fish. Could have wished for bigger specimens, but they filled the belly!
