Went to holm today for my first time, in the float tube. This lake is very stained and hosts MANY smaller fish. I tossed a jig on the west side of the lake just outside of the weed line with no luck. Had many strikes which came off of a 4" chartreuse senko, but were too small for the hook, the only real actionof my day, was losing one on the north end, which had some size to it, at least 4 lbs.(I did get to see it briefly pulling it threw the lily pads) I was unable to pull it out of the heavy cover from such a low height in the float tube.
