Well this is a 2 parter so stay with me.

Yesterda afterwork I hit up Americn lake by the big condimed dock on north Ft. Lewis fished for little over a hr on the bottom with worms for perch. It was realy slow coght one perch and one rock bass. It was just to windy where I was trying to fish butt i saw a giant LMB crusin the weed line but just could'nt get her to bite.

So to day the wind wasnt that bad I desided on up by the merina to day i fished the graval bank south west of the merina. I was swichin of beteen a bober with worm and a 1/4 oz jig with a shartruse and orange 3in fire tail twister tail. Had beter luck to day cought a rock bass and a bow on the bober and 5 rock bass on the jig it was still slow lots of work for a small prize. the best way i found was just fish slow about a ft or so from the bottom and as far out as i could . I'm boatles so that was a challeng in its own there was a lot of people and boats on the lake so it was good seeing fish all the same.

Seems the cooler weather may have slowed down the perch. I went out briefly to a local small lake yesterday (Fed Way) and just caught a few dinks. Trout were more active (amy have to start bringing flyrod), but I wasn't targeting them.
Thanx for the report. Catching a few is still enough to make fishing lots of fun. Let us know if the perch start in!
Was the bobber and worm more effective, or jig?

got most the bites on the jig but there was a lot of fish jumping every where mainly trout.
