Sat all day on boat dock because fishing dock was packed. They were doing pretty good off fishing dock. I stuck it out until about 5pm when this monster bent my pole over out of nowhere. Good thing I had 10lb test on the pole he hit(i was using 2 pole permit). The fish made several runs and at hte end tried to run under the dock, but I tightened the drag and horsed him away form there. It was either snap my line horsing him or let him snap it on the dock so luckily i won. He was 6lb and 23inches. :) Thanks to the gentleman with the net handy.. and nice job scooping it in. Only saw one other fish come in off boat dock. Several fish were being caught off fishing dock looked to be around 3lbs each. Haugens keep a very nice clean campground at Four Seasons Resort and if you visit please be respectful by cleaning up after yourself and dogs.
