The Duells were up from Phoenix, Arizona for a wedding. They decided to try their hand at fishing for Lake Chelan's lakers. Since the young guys had a bachelor party to attend the night before they skipped the sleeping part and just showed up to fish. My kind of guys. We had a great early run on the Bar which matches up with the last couple of Junes. The Bar switches from being an evening only phenomenon to being good early and late. The first run (30 minutes) brought us 3 fish. A 6 pounder, a 10lb 13oz; and a 13 lb 10oz fish. What a nice first pass. We came back down and picked up 2 more quality fish. A third pass got us one more, then a clean pass. Time to move. We pounded a few more fish as we looped through the potholes downlake of the Bar to get an even 10 for 4 hours. 8 of the 10 were five pounds or better with a couple of double digit fish. What a deal!
