We got to the lake around 10 am. Took off from the the dock, went across the lake and started trolling to the resort area (H2O temp was 67.0) Wife had first fish on within 10 minutes. The fish were biting , my 8 y/o daughter missed several hits. We C&R alot of the small trout so that they could get bigger. I then had a urge, to go over to the cove and throw a Rapala F9 @ some LMB. First LMB hit within 5 minutes (I would guess around 2 lbs), My kid was amazed @ how fast the fish jumped on the lure( the LMB was C&R). I then returned to trolling so that the wife and kid would'nt become bored watching me fish for LMB. Started Trolling back towards the resort area and GOT slammed by a fish that hit harder than the LMB, but the that fish shook the hook. Anyway it was a great day on the lake, went home with 2 trout, but C&R alot of others.. H2O temp was 68.6 when we left with a slight breeze... I love Kapowsin!
