My brother and I made our second trip ever to Grimes Lake and again we were not dissapointed. This is one of those lakes that any serious trout angler needs to fish at least once. Its a long drive and I can only manage to go once a season or so,but it is well worth the trip. This lake has selective gear rules in place(single barbless hook only and no bait allowed)also it has a one fish limit. We trolled with spoons and flies and caught about 12 fish each. The action was a little slower than last year, but when you are catching 3-4 lb trout consistenly that is easy to forget. No gas motors are allowed on this lake so float tubes or car-toppers are a must. The pictures are of the two we kept, but all the fish we caught were in this same size range, you will find that some of the fish are in there full spawning colors and some of the fish are nice and shiney.Good Luck
