6/17/2010 2:14:00 PMNo I was not fishing it wacky, I use a 1/8th oz. slider head jig. It doesn't hang in the weeds as bad and it still stays on the bottom if I fish it slow enough. This AM however most fish hit it on the first fall or soon after. Only one hit out from the bank in maybe 5ft. of water.

And then I moved while you were fishing the 'back of the skinny point'. I went to the south and then you showed up going in circles around the islands. Yes I was out in the open again. LOL

6/17/2010 5:25:00 PMI knew you wouldn't tell me about your crank bait dam'it. You hide well I did not see you at all. I did not even realize I went around the island that many times either. Man it was cold though. See you soon if you want me to?

6/17/2010 7:59:00 PMYou did but I thought you lost it. I use that one I showed you but it only catches dinks. I loose confidence with those small hooks. I changed hooks but bait so small it badly effected the action. Maybe we are saying to much?????????

6/17/2010 9:20:00 PMExcept for AMX he has been doing better than all of us with crank baits, not me all my big fish have been shallow deep in the back of docks or cover. I have caught a few in open water drop offs,but all on senkos. I hate fishing that slow, but you have to do what you have to do. What boat were you in this AM? Were you fishing with two women, if so then I saw you catch your nice smallmouth, and I had just fished that same place not 30 minutes prior.

6/18/2010 3:38:00 PMI did lose it. But I looked in my tacklebox that I put together for fishing from another's boat, and there was one in there. [happy dance]. :-) Then I looked in my grocery bag of 50 or so new lures and there were 2 more. YEHAW
