Took some friends out tuesday and had a great time. Wind was blowing pretty good and the sun was partially out. Water temp in the low to mid 60's. Fished our usual haunts with great sucess. Steph caught a 2 lber for her 2nd fish and she didn't let up all day. Most fish caught for the day were well over a lb with some smaller fish taking up space and bait. Hit a few femals full off eggs ready to spawn. Ninty percent of our bites were hard and swift. Could have had our limit in an hour but we were there to fish for most of the day, as always we were selective in the fish we kept. The weather turned out better as the sun started to shine and the fishing was hot! I had an eight incher on my line, when I got him to the boat we looked over and there was a three foot trout following my little guy like he was hungry. The best part was it happened right at the boat about a foot under the surface, thought for sure I would have had two on had he gotten ahold of the lil guy. All in all had a great day, fantastic fishing, good friends and some amazing unusual things things happened (like the mini tornado on the water out of nowhere).
