Spent the week up at the Lake Wenatchee/Fish Lake area and fished fish lake three separate days. Weather became hotter as the week went on, the Algae level was very high.


7/19 - (Dock Fishing) - 0530-0930hrs - Caught two nice Rainbow Trout about 7 inches each. Used Fl. Red powerbait with a sinker to the bottom, allowing the bait to float about 18 inches off of the bottom -4lb line. Fishing was pretty good for all of us who were on the dock.

7/21 - (Boat Fishing) - 0745-0945hrs - Rented a motor boat tried still fishing deep and some slow trolling. Only caught a very small (4 inch) Rainbow and a small bass, neither were worth keeping.

7/23 - (Dock Fishing) - 0515-0945hrs - Fishing was very slow, only had one fish on the whole time, same setup as 7/19 - Fish was pretty big, broke my line when I got it close to the dock. Fishing was slow for everyone on the dock, the hot weather (90+) probably had something to do with it.
